These M6 channel nuts are designed for the C-rails installed on the roofs of VW T5, T6, T6.1, Crafter, and Sprinter, and are perfect for securely mounting roof racks, roof decks, solar panels, and other accessories.
When choosing the length, consider the material thickness of all parts:
When choosing an M6 channel nut with a 16 mm thread length, screw, and washer, for example, 5.4 mm of usable thread length remains for the material to be fastened:
16 mm thread - 3 mm C-rail - 6 mm nut - 1.6 mm washer = 5.4 mm
