Suitable for the Fusion double-stage housing for camping or under-sink use, the set includes an Active cartridge, a Nano cartridge, and optionally 3 pre-filter replacement pads.

Utilize the full Alb Filter spectrum by using both cartridges in series. Pay attention to the order and filter from coarse to fine: Protect (coarse / optional), Active (finer), Nano (finest).

What is filtered?

Protection against bacteria and microorganisms

The Nano cartridge focuses on filtering germs and bacteria in high concentrations, e.g., E-Coli, Vibrio Cholarae, Shigella, Salmonella.

Microplastics and other smallest particles

Due to the microscopically fine hollow fibers of the Nano cartridge, even the smallest particles down to a size of 0.1 µm are reliably retained.

Pesticides and drug residues

Organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues, as well as hormones and hormone-like substances are reduced.

Chlorine and other odor and taste impairments

The high-quality activated carbon block absorbs annoying odors (chlorine, chlorinated hydrocarbons, CFCs, etc.) and taste impairments in drinking water.

Heavy metals such as lead and copper

The adsorptive effect of activated carbon binds and reduces heavy metals in drinking water.

Protection against Legionella

The Nano cartridge reliably protects against Legionella and other microorganisms. Whether as a preventive measure or in case of a positive Legionella finding.

Active

Binds odors and pollutants, alkyl substances (PFAS), etc.

Due to the strong surface forces (adhesion) of activated carbon, undesirable turbidity and odors such as chlorine, as well as organic compounds and pollutants, are removed from the water. These include drug residues, hormones, pesticides/plant protection products, per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), and more.

Stops germs and bacteria

Inside the Nano cartridge is a hollow fiber membrane. This membrane consists, similar to bundled straws, of many interconnected hollow fibers. These hollow fiber tubes, due to their small diameter of 0.1 µm, are able to reliably retain pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, as well as microplastics and other particles.

The fine pores of the installed cartridges can easily become clogged by particles such as sediment, rust, and sand. With the interchangeable, sintered PP fleece in a fineness of 40 µm, the Protect pre-filter replacement pads offer reliable protection and extend the lifespan of the subsequent cartridge.
