This super compact horizontal cable seal DS-HD6-BLK was developed to avoid the time-consuming and inadequate routing of solar panel cables. It allows two 5-6mm cables to be routed through a roof or deck. The easy installation of the cable gland results in an aesthetically pleasing and 100% waterproof installation. This makes it perfect for routing two solar panel cables from the outside to the inside, whether on your motorhome or boat. Of course, it can also be used to route other cables with the appropriate diameter.
The compact design of the cable gland is ideal for installation as close as possible to the solar panel, making optimal use of the available space.

- The cable gland is only suitable for cables with a round sheath.
- This gland is not suitable for cables that come equipped with a connector from the manufacturer, as the connector will not fit through the seal.

Tightness
Scanstrut cable glands are developed for marine use and are 100% dustproof and waterproof. According to the IP68 standard, they withstand submersion in 1.5 m of water for half an hour (provided the original 5 or 6 mm seals or blanking plugs are used).
