Cali Side Rack

With the Pachamama Vans Cali Side Rack, your VW T5 or T6 with an original VW keder rail gets a clean solution for dirty equipment. Recovery boards, leveling ramps, shovels, and recovery ropes have their fixed place here even after use in mud or snow, and they don't dirty the living space of your van.

The rails are screwed into the keder rail with the included stainless steel T-nuts and fastened to the vehicle at the bottom with rubberized magnets. Thanks to the adhesive force of 62 kg per rail, everything stays in place, and installation is done without permanent alterations to your bus. The position of the rails can be freely chosen along the entire length of the bus.

Security screws are included for fastening in the keder rail and with the magnets to protect your Side Rack from thieves. Like all fastening materials, these are made of stainless steel. A suitable special bit is included for assembly. Choose the required thread length for your recovery boards and your preferred fastening material. For two stacked TRED GT or HD boards, the 56 mm bolts are ideal.

Data for the optional Recovery Board Mount:

The bolts are normally counter-fastened on the outside with a self-locking flange nut. This fits perfectly into the eyelet of recovery boards with 18 mm mounting eyelets, so the required thread length is calculated from the outside of the Cali Side Rack. If the mounting holes of your sandboards are smaller, add 13 mm for the flange nut to the required thread length.

The Cali Side Racks are considered cargo, so no individual approval by TÜV is required. Always keep the special bit in the vehicle so that the Side Racks can be removed at any time.

When selecting security star knobs, two keys are always included; always carry one in the vehicle here as well.
