Fresh water tank cleaner with active oxygen

Good tank hygiene is essential when traveling with a camper or caravan. Regular tank cleaning is crucial. Our fresh water tank cleaner with active oxygen gently removes odor-forming substances, light grease deposits, and limescale, restoring the water tank to a hygienic condition.

Also cleans water hoses, canisters, and the gray water tank.

Easy dosing

With the included measuring spoon (30 g), dosing is a breeze. For a 100-liter tank, 5 units of the measuring spoon are needed - a total of 150 g of Clean Tank Cleaner. A 100-liter tank can be cleaned about 3 times with one can.

Application

Cleaning the water tank

Preparation
Stainless steel filter housing: Please remove the installed cartridges before cleaning.
Aluminum filter housings and third-party filters: Completely remove from the system before cleaning.
Other installed components: Check for suitability with the cleaning agent.

1. Fill tank
Completely fill the tank with water.

2. Dosing
Add 30 g (1 scoop) of Alb Clean per 20 L of water to the tank. Allow the powder to dissolve and briefly open the lines until the solution is distributed throughout the system.

3. Allow to act
Wait approx. 2 hours – the solution works in the tank and lines. Ensure ventilation, as overpressure can occur!

4. Pump out
After the exposure time, pump the solution into the gray water tank. Let it act there for another 2 hours – this will also clean it!

5. Refill
Refill the tank with fresh drinking water. Generally, no further rinsing is necessary – the residues (oxygen + minerals) are harmless. Note: The minerals can slightly alter the taste. Rinse the tank if necessary.

Done – The tank is cleaned and ready for the next trip!

Cleaning water hose

Mix a small amount of water with the appropriate dosage of tank cleaner. Dose approx. 15 g Alb Filter® Clean fresh water tank cleaner (½ measuring spoon) per 10 L of water. Pour into the hose and seal both ends. Allow to act for 2 hours. After the exposure time, connect the hose to a tap and rinse.

Note: Stubborn biofilm deposits and encrustations may need to be mechanically removed or dissolved with a chlorine cleaner beforehand.
