Pollutant filter for permanent installation in motorhomes and campers

The Travel Active camping filter is permanently installed in the camper and provides pure, great-tasting drinking water directly from the tank. The activated carbon cartridge protects against pollutants and simultaneously improves the taste and clarity of the water.

The Active cartridge consists of a specially cleaned and sintered activated carbon core. The cartridge reduces organic pollutants, various medicinal residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, flavors and fine particles (rust, limescale flakes, sand). In addition, bland and chlorine-containing taste impairments in the water are effectively neutralized.

The installation takes place in the pressure stage of the water pump and can be placed at different locations, depending on where the water is to be filtered. Specially developed GEKA® quick couplings with integrated backflow stop and stepped nozzles are used to enable quick and clean installation and removal of the filter.

The stainless steel housing

Made from high-quality V4A stainless steel

The robust and durable stainless steel housing is pollutant-free, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, germ-resistant, and odorless and tasteless.

One housing, different cartridges

Compatible with all Alb Filter cartridges. The filter can also be used as a shower or drinking water filter at home.

Modular filter housing

The housing can be expanded to an additional filter stage (Fusion) and supplemented with the Protect module. With appropriate adapters, the housing can also be installed at home under the sink or in the shower.

10-year warranty

Alb Filter offers a 10-year manufacturer's warranty on its stainless steel housings.

Produced in Southern Germany

The water filters are manufactured in Southern Germany and meet Alb Filter's high standards of quality and durability.

Easy filter change thanks to water stop

Specially developed GEKA® quick couplings with integrated backflow stop and stepped nozzles are used to enable quick and clean installation and removal of the filter. The GEKA couplings and connectors are 100% Gardena compatible and DVWG certified.

Practical: The quick-release fasteners with water stop prevent residual water from leaking from the pipes when changing the filter.

Optional with Protect pre-filter

The Protect pre-filter protects the cartridges in the filter from particles such as sediment, rust, and sand that could clog the fine pores. With its interchangeable, sintered PP fleece, it reliably extends the lifespan of the main cartridge.

What is filtered?

Chlorine and other taste impairments

The high-quality Alb Filter coconut block activated carbon adsorbs unpleasant odors (chlorine, chlorinated hydrocarbons, chlorofluorocarbons, etc.) and taste impairments in drinking water.

Microplastics and other fine particles

Due to the ultra-fine structure of the sintered activated carbon, microscopic plastic particles are reliably retained.

Drug residues and pesticides

Organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues, and hormones and hormone-like substances are reduced.

Heavy metals such as lead and copper

The adsorptive effect of activated carbon binds and reduces heavy metals in drinking water.

Binds odors and pollutants

Due to the strong surface forces (adhesion) of activated carbon, unwanted turbidity and odors such as chlorine, as well as organic compounds and pollutants, are removed from the water. These include drug residues, hormones, pesticides/plant protection products, per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS), and many more.

Filters microplastics up to 10µm

The sintered activated carbon has a pore size of only 10µm (0.01 mm). This means that even very small particles are effectively retained by the fine structure. The Active cartridge thus offers protection against microplastics, sand, rust and other particles.
